Description:
SAIC's Autonomy and Analytics Division is looking for a Senior Software Developer/Engineer who will work with a team developing a border control application. The candidate will be developing a Java/Web application, developing intuitive user interfaces, interfacing with biometric sensor and other peripherals, and integrating through web services to external systems and internal databases. Develops and leads technical projects. Provides fact-finding and research as required for the project. May design operational test and evaluations based on research and analysis. Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s). Provides guidance to others to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Works on complex problems where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of conflicting factors. Interacts with management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of others.

Work location is Vienna or Chantilly, VA.

Education: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering

- r closely related field.

Candidate must hold an active Top Secret security clearance and be poly eligible.

Candidate must have 5 years of software development experience involving object-oriented analysis and design, web services, Spring, database development and multi-tiered client-server application development are required. Must have experience with a variety of the following Java, Spring, SQL, XML, Linux, PostgreSQL. Should be familiar with full life cycle development processes.

Desired Skills: Java, HTML, jquery, Eclipse, Tomcat, Apache, XSLT, HTML, ruby, perl.
