Position Information
Job Description

Provide facilities maintenance and janitorial support to busy Museum with a wide variety of public and historic buildings and outdoor spaces. Duties may include general facilities and grounds maintenance, janitorial tasks, housekeeping and cleaning, and special event support. Approximately 30 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to work weekday, weekend and occasional evening shifts according to Museum needs, experience in building and grounds maintenance, janitorial and cleaning, ability to operate grounds-keeping and cleaning tools and machinery, clean work record and strong current references. Must be clean-cut and able to positively interact with other staff and museum guests.

Preferred Qualifications

High School graduate

Special Requirements

Valid Virginia Driver’s License required
