Most importantly - we look for people that are creative and innovative and deliver on a timely basis - because itand#39;s a lot more fun to get things done this way!DSI is seeking an Application Support Technician that has familiarity and experience with large-scale Microsoft-based applications and installations including Microsoft Server installations, configurations and maintenance. This candidate is primarily responsible for installation, configuration, setup and support of DSIand#39;s AEON software platform. Job Duties:Collaborate with Development, Release Management and QA teams for pre-release of software and streamlines the software installation, deployment and configuration process in coordination with Client Implementation teamsInteract with internal and external customers, while engaging with them to solve their problemsPartner with the customer to ensure pre-installation readiness including security/access, hardware and networkingManage, coordinate and ensure successful deployments, installations, setup and configuration of softwareSupport both SaaS and on premise software and software updatesTroubleshoot and document installation challengesPerform system and user administration tasksDevelop and refine installation and configuration proceduresBuild and maintain documentation including installation and configuration proceduresProvide on-site support to customersAct as Tier-3 support participant to resolve any help desk tickets and/or callsProvide Office 365 and desktop support for DSI usersExperience and Skills:Required Skills:3-5 years of experience in technical support, system administration or related work experience in a technical IT operationMust be clearable (Public Trust)Experience with Hypervisor Technology StackExperience with webserver configurations and web application deployments and troubleshootingExperience with Microsoft Server administration, e.g. Windows Servers, Active Directory, TFS, SharePoint, SQL etc.Experience with creation and execution of PowerShell scriptsExperience with software development and maintenance practices and methodologiesExperience with Office 365, cloud infrastructure and supportExcellent analytical, verbal, presentation and written communication skillsAbility to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter expertsSelf-starter, adaptable and process-oriented providing various levels of support to a projectGreat teamwork, organizational and time-management skillsApplicants must be able to successfully achieve the appropriate Security and/or Background Check status for support under any contract.Desired Skills: Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics CRMFamiliarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST and/or CISSPFamiliarity with ITIL Foundation Version 3Core Products/Languages:Microsoft OfficeMicrosoft ProjectSharePointOffice 365 EnvironmentsDistributed Solutions, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
