Job Description MUST BE LICENSED AS A RESPIRATORY CARE PARACTITIONER IN BOTH THE STATE OF VIRGINIA AND NORTH CAROLINA.
Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and work independently. Primary responsibility will be program and staff development, sales support. Candidate will provide educational instruction on the use and care of home respiratory equipment, provide clinical and non-clinical follow up for patients about Sentara's home care services. - Completion of a NBRC recognized program in Respiratory Therapy - RCP practitioners license for the state of Virginia or eligible to obtain with 90 days of start date. - Valid driver?s license - Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Must have good communication skills, strong working knowledge of equipment utilized in home care and experience with mechanical ventilation in the hospital or home setting.
