          We’re seeking a career minded Mechanical Engineering graduate interested in pursuing a career as an engineer. Based out of our Norfolk, VA office, this exciting engineering and design opportunity supports our Industrial Refrigeration construction business by providing technical engineering information to project teams to ensure work complies with engineering standards. Learn our business and develop your skills while working closely with experienced senior refrigeration engineers, designers, and construction managers.

          Core responsibilities include designing refrigeration systems for food distribution centers, cold storage, and food processing facilities as well as developing flow diagrams, plans and specifications for refrigeration systems. Additionally, Refrigeration Engineers perform heat load calculations to determine facility refrigeration requirements and heat transfer and thermodynamic analysis associated with sizing and selection of refrigeration equipment, piping, and control valves.

          To be considered, applicants must have or be pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering degree. Ideal candidates will be working toward successful completion of EIT or PE exam. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, a high engineering aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Because of our success, our work environment isfast paced. The best candidate must be an organized self-starter handling multiple assignments at the same time.
