          Job Details:
          Functions in advanced clinical role to provide care/education to a group of staff, patients, families and/or community. Individual may function in a variety of roles with specific duties for an individual department, medical specialty or program. Instrumental in the design, coordination, education, evaluation and/or implementation of programs related to the patient care process. Reports to Department management.

          Experience, Education and Training Minimum:Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of an accreditedSchoolofNursing. CurrentVirginiastate license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a validCompactStatelicense. Requires an advanced degree and current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification from the National Certification Corporation (NCC). Pediatric experience preferred. CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
