-Must have active Confidential Security Clearance to start
-Must have experience operating & maintaining shipboard Hull, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic (HME&E) systems and equipment.
-Must have the ability to read and interpret HME&E engineering drawings, technical manuals and a variety of technical data in order to identify wearable and replaceable assemblies, sub-assemblies and piece parts.
-Must have a thorough familiarity with the Navy Supply System and its use in achieving/maintaining shipboard system/equipment operational readiness.
Responsible for supporting the effective accomplishment of HM&E jobs screened to MARMC for accomplishment by assisting approximately 30 Maintenance Teams for Amphibious and Combatant ship classes. Tasked: to identify ILS deficiencies which impact industrial repair and shipboard maintenance processes, determine core causes and provide feedback/recommendations to life cycle managers which will initiate resolutions. Assignment includes addressing issues concerning configuration problems, parts cataloging errors, deficiencies in technical and supply support documentation (drawings, technical manuals, PMS MRCs, COSAL documents, etc.), part obsolescence issues, stock inadequacies and material identification issues.
Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment. Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks. Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support. Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.

Recently separated submarine or surface warfare qualified technician. Minimum of four years experience in the operation/maintenance of shipboard HM&E systems/equipment. Should be PC literate - e-mail, word processing, spread sheets, databases, and presentation graphics. Should have above average command of the English language, able to communicate technical concepts effectively and express ideas clearly and concisely.
Experience using CDMD-OA, OARS, TDMIS, WSS Asset Visibility, One Touch Support, and FIMARS a plus.
