Key Functions

  • Macro-understanding of business operations and priorities and the ability to articulate them effectively through summary analysis and representative mathematical and analytic models

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and act in an independent, confident, creative, flexible and consultative manner

  • Ability to synthesize business objectives, processes, and tools to formulate hypotheses and test conclusions to determine appropriate solutions

  • Apply statistical and analytic rigor to problem definition, data gathering and preparation, data analysis and modeling, and results validation and visualization

Job Responsibilities

  • Represent Enterprise Strategic Analytics in major strategic initiatives across the company including building business cases, financial dashboards and modeling, cost and benefit tracking, and helping drive these initiatives from an enterprise point of view

  • Contribute to various strategic operational activities in the finance domain and across related corporate operations domains (e.g., HR, IT, facilities) including long-range strategic/business planning, resource planning, finance roadmap, and preparing executive level presentations

  • Conduct analyses to identify and resolve performance gaps and operational processes to optimize for value creation

  • Partner with groups across the organization to facilitate requirements gathering, process improvement, and tool adoption

  • Evaluate and advise on the financial and other implications of alternative business decisions to inform decision makers

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Possess strong quantitative data analysis, problem solving, framework development, and analytical modeling skills with the ability to develop/analyze business cases

  • Self-starter and problem solver, able to scope an undefined problem and drive it to completion

  • Strong foundation of corporate finance and operations concepts

  • Exposure to multiple functions (e.g., operations, IT) and business units

  • Continuous improvement mentality with the capacity to drive change

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Data preparation, analysis, and modeling skills including exposure to statistical (e.g., correlation, hypothesis testing, sensitivity analysis) and machine learning methods as well as common tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Tableau, @Risk)

  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or math

BS and 3 years related experience
