          The Physical Therapist Assistant is licensed by the state of Virginia and demonstrates competency in the evaluation, planning, implementation and re-evaluation of patient treatment to maintain or restore patients to their maximum functional performance level. This person also establishes appropriate discharge planning, documents and bills according to Centra guidelines.

          EDUCATION

          Required:
          PT: Meets Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Physical Therapy academic requirements upon hire date.

          EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

          Required:
          New graduate acceptable

          LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
          Possesses or eligible for Commonwealth of Virginia Licensure in Physical Therapy.
          Member of respective professional organization desired.
