          Job Description

          The Technician will analyze and document RF frequency devices, digitizers and other communications components and prototype RF surveillance circuits.  The Technician should be proficient in the use of all Electronics Lab/RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, and other test equipment as necessary.  The Technician should be familiar with passive and active RF components such as mixers, amplifiers, antennas and other components involved in RF communication.  The Technician will maintain lab notebook and report on results of test and prototyping activity (to include but not limited to soldering, component assembly and simple integration efforts as directed.)  Technician will research components needed to meet system requirements and conduct testing to document equipment performance.  Technician needs to be proficient at trouble shooting test set up and proper component operation.  Should be knowledgeable of MS Office Suite.
           
          The Electronics Technician supports WTI level III exploitation of IEDs. technician will generate level III reportsas directed. The technician also researches, locates and requests desired devices for sponsoring lab. Technician using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, digital multi-meters, soldering irons, and spectrum analyzers to analyze, troubleshoot, modify, and repair IEDs.  Requested devices will then be shipped to sponsor lab for further analysis.  When returned technician will verify all materials have been received and turn back in to originating lab.

          Due to government requirements, US citizens only.  Active Top Secret clearance is required to start and successful candidates should be clearable to SCI.
           
          Job Requirements

          Technical associates degree or technical training with 5 years of practical experience in lab/testing troubleshooting environment for RF systems.  Knowledgeable of RF components and lab testing equipment.  Must be proficient with MS Office Suite.
           
          Familiarity with following toolsets is desirable:
          -       National Instrument hardware

          -     LabView system use

           -     Able to operate all standard EE laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters and other equipment as necessary.
