Primary responsibility is to provide Configuration Data Management support to the Littoral Combat Ships under the New Construction Acquisition contract. Review system installation, arrangement, and hull block drawings to establish the LCS ships configuration baseline in the CDMD-OA database. Review, assess, and implement approved changes to the configuration. Candidate must have clear understanding of the Hierachical Structure Scheme (HSC) to determine the top-down breakdown of each system from the technical data. Candidate must be able to travel and perform shipboard validations during new construction and post delivery availabilities. Candidate will be required to manage and track work items on various projects to submit monthly progress reports. A working knowledge of the Navy's acquisition and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) processes to include provisioning , outfitting, inventory and configuration management is essential to support COSAL production. Candidate will be responsible for selected shipboard systems to ensure accurate and complete data. Will be required to create or update internal operating procedures and successfully meet the NAVSEA SCLSIS Certification requirements. Must have a minimum of ten years CDM/CDMD-OA/CM experience, or prior NAVY shipboard experience.
Basic Qualifications Must be detail oriented with excellent analytical skills. Must be a problem solver and work independently. Proficient using all Micro Soft Professional and AutoCAD viewer software. Knowledge of the Navy Supply and ILS processes. Must be willing to travel Experience performing equipment validations on ships in construction. Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with subcontractors, military and civilian workers to include Program Managers and high ranking military officers.
Desired skills Experience using CDMD-OA and NDE. Knowledge of Navy Supply System, OMMS-NG, AWN and the Navy PMS system. Familiarity with Navy Modernization Program and RMMCO requirements. Technical experience with shipboard systems either through operating, testing, installing, or maintaining these systems.
