DescriptionThe customer is in need of a System Engineer. Responsibility include, but not limited to: Ensure assessment deliverables are developed in accordance with CAD standards and organizational policies and regulations. Leverage cyber and project management skills to assure quality products are consistently provided to customers in a timely manner. Support activities to enable the team to report risks and vulnerabilities of organization systems. Complete quality assurance review for all assessment products. Review a sample of no less than 30 percent of the previous months completed work. Provide feedback to Team Leads and TECH Management concerning assessments that do not meet quality standards. Document and communicate lessons learned, processes and procedures, and other pertinent quality topics in appropriate formats. Assist in researching, evaluating and developing relevant Information Security policies and guidance. Identify and communicate internal areas of growth and gauge training deficiencies. Support tasks requiring the collecting, compiling, evaluating and publishing of information and statistical data in documents, records, forms, reports, plans, policies, and regulations. Plan, coordinate, and participate project management activities and any necessary control gate reviews to include assistance with scheduling meetings and preparation of briefings/presentations with project teams. Analyze workflows, design and develop methodologies to assist internal workflow management, including but not limited to: interactive forms (for examples word macros), manuals, processes/procedures, and information sheets. Duties could also include setting team production goals, writing analysis on relatively short notice, and responding to data calls.Mandatory Skills1. At least ten years of demonstrated experience communicating vulnerability results and risk posture to projects, orally and written. 2. At least ten years of experience of project management related tasks with time management. 3. At least eight years demonstrated experience with employing risk management methodologies, NIST, and/or CNSS guidance. 4. At least eight years demonstrated experience with the development or analysis of enterprise network architectures. 5. At least eight years demonstrated experience performing quality reviews of cyber security reports and/or analytical products for external distribution. 6. At least five years of demonstrated experience creating systems and applications security documentation. 7. At least five years of demonstrated experience with information security policies and guidance, as well as assisting in researching, evaluating and developing relevant security policies and guidance. 8. At least five years of demonstrated experience performing multiple concurrent complex tasks in pursuit of overall goals with minimal direction. 9. At least two years of demonstrated experience with vulnerability assessment scanning tools and performing security analysis. 10. Bachelors (B.S.) degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline. Optional Skills1. Demonstrated experience with system configuration, development, and design specifically around enterprise and small organizational systems. 2. Certification in cyber-security or penetration testing disciplines. 3. Demonstrated experience with experience with Unix, Linux, Windows and virtual platforms. 4. Demonstrated experience with applying test methodologies, including writing test plans and test cases. 5. Knowledge or on-the-job experience with advanced penetration testing, system exploitation, and cyber-security engineering. 6. At least five years of demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's implementation of security directives. 7. At least five years of demonstrated experience with Sponsor's Information Assurance policies and regulations and knowledge of the correlation to the A&A process.
