What you’ll Do:
A successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operation and
maintenance of the hardware deployed for the Airborne Cueing Exploitation
System Hyperspectral (ACES HY) mission into the Air Force Distributed Common
Ground System (AF DCGS) at Langley Air Force base, Virginia. The candidate
will facilitate the maintenance (auditing, IAVAs, etc), operation, and
trouble-shoot issues with the hardware in order to support the transition of
ACES HY operations to DGS-1. The selected individual will be responsible for
ensuring ACES HY capabilities are fully functioning and will be the point
person for interfacing with the management and infrastructure teams at BATC’s
Fairborn, OH office.
Desired skills/qualifications:
· Experience with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008R2
· Experience with VMWare; vSphere is required and View is a plus
· Experience with configuring and maintaining Storage; NSF and CIFS
required and NetApp is a plus
· Experience with TCP/IP Networking is required and Cisco is a plus
· Ability to locate to Langley, VA to support the ACES HY operations
· Ability to work unsupervised
· Ability to work nights/weekends/holidays
· Current TS/SCI clearance
Preferred skills/qualifications
· Experience with the ACES HY sensor
· Experience with specifying, documenting, and deploying IT systems to
support data receipt, processing, and exploitation
· Experience with the C&A processes for accrediting IT systems
What you'll Need:
BS in Information Technology or a related technical field plus 5 or more years
related experience.
