Summary:The Audiovisual Service Specialist II will provide AV services including but not limited to: full event/ceremony set-up/tear-down of all audiovisual and presentation equipment at both on and off site locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Maintain all training aids and devices to include training, maintenance, and issue/receive equipment.

  • Document materials and hours, for each project; handle minor administrative duties such as answering phones and assisting customers with request forms.

  • Consult with the customer to clarify AVPS and/or TAD products/services available to meet the customers’ needs.

  • Provide cost estimates and document materials and hours worked for each project.

  • Electronically backup all final files of all video products created that allow additions, changes, corrections, modifications, layers and rapid updates.

  • Keep the Devices Shop clean and conduct daily housekeeping prior to securing.

  • Provide support as needed in the following:

  • Presentation (set-up, tear-down, pre-testing and transportation of equipment)

  • AV equipment requests

  • Training aid

  • Video Support and Video/Audio Dubbing

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • High School Diploma or GED is required and a minimum of 1-year experience in videotape/audio duplication services as requested; services may include CD, DVD, Beta Cam and PAL format videotapes.

  • Experience in Visual Information and processes the knowledge of invention, imagination, and originality. Invention, imagination, originality, and talent shall be exercised be the employee in the field of work.

  • Current/Valid US Driver’s License andvalid state vehicle registration.

  • Secret Clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications.

  • Must be capable of quickly learning new systems and associated software applications for proficient execution of tasks.

  • Must be capable of managing multiple projects with time related constraints in a fast paced contract manufacturing environment.

  • Strong customer service skills to include verbal communication, computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Ability to travel to various sites in Virginia as needed.
