CSRA provides classroom sustainment of analog and digital audiovisual technologies in support of the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Combined Arms Command (CAC), Army Training Support Center (ATSC), Enterprise Classroom Program.
The candidate will provide sustainment services for nearly 4000 classrooms supported by the Enterprise Classroom Program. Primary duties and on-site support will occur in classrooms located at Fort Eustis. Occasional travel to Fort Lee, Virginia may occur. Very limited travel to locations other than Fort Eustis or Fort Lee may occur.
The position requires troubleshooting of audiovisual and digital classroom technologies and analysis, interpretation, and development of detailed audiovisual designs. This includes recommendations based on classroom layout, audio/video/control schematics and networking diagrams as required in order to maintain and sustain the audiovisual functionality of supported classrooms.
Review of architectural, electrical and structural drawings and recommendations regarding impact on sustainment of analog and digital audiovisual technologies in classrooms is required as well as adherence to sound and established safety and design criteria.
The candidate will liaison with TRADOC School representatives across the United States to troubleshoot, resolve or capture issues concerning the operation or functionality of classroom equipment. Requirements will be annotated in drawings and briefing materials as necessary for presentation to the Enterprise Classroom Program, Program Manager for approval and direction.
The candidate should be well versed in Microsoft Office products. Rudimentary knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Computer Aided Design (CAD) applications is preferred.
The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, demonstrate a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, work either independently or as part of a team and effectively communicate with personnel in leadership positions, customers and peers alike. The candidate will provide Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) in supported classrooms at Fort Eustis.
The position also requires expenditure and materials tracking in order to maintain accurate data necessary for local and contractual reporting requirements. Interaction with the government customer for expenditure approval is also required.
The candidate must possess an InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification.
Crestron, Extron, Chief and BiAmp certifications are preferred and additional audiovisual or electrical certifications are a plus.
No less than 2 years of experience in the audiovisual industry is required.
The candidate must be capable of effectively communicating the details of audio/video/control schematics as necessary to resolve classroom functionality issues.
A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field is a plus.
