MTEQ is seeking an Electrical Engineer with extensive knowledge and strong communication skills to join our team of well qualified, diverse individuals at our Fort Belvoir, VA Office.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
The candidate will be an Electrical Engineer in support of (NVESD) Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate contract. A specialty in micro-electronics design and engineering is desired, with skills in using OrCAD PSpice Designer® or similar design applications. Duties will additionally include field work in various locations throughout the continental United States, and laboratory work conducting measurements and experiments. Qualified candidates should have a great attitude and work ethic, and be eager to learn and succeed.
· Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
· 3-5 years of related experience
· Ability to travel for several weeks at a time
· One to three years of relevant internships, co-operative education work assignments, or industry work experience
· Familiarity with industry design standards, codes, and regulations
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Master of Science, Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university desired.
Ability to obtain Security clearance preferred. Active Security Clearance a plus
