          Position Description:

          CGI is looking for a Voice, Video, and Data Network Infrastructure Expert that will provide expert consulting services and recommendations regarding technologies to maintain and improve the client's overall voice, video, and data network infrastructure operations.

          Duties & Responsibilities:
          The Voice, Video, and Data Network Infrastructure Expert will:
          -Provide recommendations for consolidation, improvement, or enhancement of the client's voice, video, and data network infrastructure.
          -Provide expert level troubleshooting of voice, video, and data network issues
          -Deliver high availability, reliability, scalability, maintainability, and strong security that exceed customer expectation.
          -Achieve high portability and security for mobile computing and remote access.
          -Advance the capabilities of existing information and network technology infrastructure and services.
          -Enhance business agility by creating a stable and scalable network environment.
          -Lower operating costs through better asset utilization and increased efficiency.
          -Transform the network operations environment to current, prevalent industry standards through integration, consolidation, virtualization, automation and convergence.
          -Provide a flexible portfolio of network infrastructure services based upon business and technical requirements.
          -Decrease risk through the use of tested industry-standard technologies and intelligent design to secure the network against attacks and malicious intrusions.
          -Deploy technologies and tools that simplify network management, end-to-end application performance management, root cause analysis and problem resolution.
          -Implement industry best practices for network design and deployment methodologies that mitigate the likelihood of disruption to operations.
          -Recommend and implement IT solutions that track and report on SLA and OLA for all network services and sub-services.

          Requirements:
          -Experience in designing, building, and deploying voice, video, and data network infrastructure capabilities
          -Experience in troubleshooting voice, video, and data network issues
          -Expert level familiarity with, at a minimum, the following technologies and components: network routers, switchs, gateways, firewalls, telephony devices, telephones, PBX and WAN optimization controllers; MS Active Directory, Domain Controller, DNS, and DHCP servers; remote access/VPN concentrators; the firewall, IDS/IPS, encryption, and other network security devices; and the SNMP-based network and systems management devices.
          -Experience in providing network administration and support including proactive network monitoring, scheduled administration, and support.
          -At least 5 years of relevant experience.
          -Minimum education of Bachelor�s Degree.

          Desired Skills:
          Knowledge of the Federal Aviation Administration operating environment
