A global leader in the technology industry that provides software services to higher education is looking for a new Treasury Analyst to work in their Reston, VA office. As a Treasury Analyst, you would be crucial in executing the company global treasury functions, including bank relationship management, cash forecasting, cash management and providing analytical support to the company's global treasury operations. Duties include:

  • Performing daily cash requirement analysis and assisting form recommendations for borrowing or repayment of available lines of credit

  • The coordination and processing of US Dollars and foreign currency payments

  • Assistance with mitigating banking fees and transaction costs

  • The maintenance, documentation and tracking of bank accounts

  • Supporting treasury optimization of the global bank account structure

  • The preparation of the cash forecast for US and International Operations

  • Monitoring compliance with global treasury policies

  • Performance of special treasury projects


The ideal candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or a related field (MBA or CTP designation preferred)

  • 2 years of corporate treasury experience (multinational corporate environment preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of finance and accounting principles and financial markets and treasury best practices

  • Experience with foreign currency is desired

  • Strong Excel skills and online cash/management portals and SAP accounting software

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Analytical problem solving skills and the ability to apply them to a variety of work assignments

  • Positive, professional outlook and the desire to work individually and as part of a collaborative team
