Position Description:
CGI is looking for a Program Manager to be responsible for the operations, maintenance, consolidation, and potential migration to a cloud infrastructure environment of all data centers for a government agency that is a client of CGI. The Program Manager will also grow our business by successfully bidding on task orders for a multiple award Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract vehicle through which we will provide these services to our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Provide management and direction for a number of different areas, including:
-Service Desk Operations
-Data Center Operations
-Voice, Video, and Data Network Infrastructure Operations
-IT Security
-Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations
-Transformation and consolidation of clients infrastructure footprint, including potentially leveraging cloud infrastructures
-IT Governance
-Transition of contract from incumbent
-Business Service Management
-Application Development and software lifecycle management
-Work with internal (CGI) and external (client) stakeholders to achieve desired results
-Transition operations from a time and materials based contract to one based on firm fixed price task orders with clear scope, quality, and budget goals within a year of employment
-Lead task order bids for the multiple award IDIQ contract vehicle through which we will provide services
-Serve as our account representative to identify other potential sales leads within the client organization
Requirements:
-Experience leading bid, proposal, and/or capture teams for government contracts and/or multiple award IDIQ task orders
-Experience managing custom application development and application maintenance and operations projects
-Program Management and Project Management experience for infrastructure, service desk, data center, disaster recovery and continuity of operations
-Experience managing consolidation of infrastructure to reduce costs while maintaining or growing current client capability.
-Experience managing large fixed price contracts and/or task orders
-Experience managing large staff (up to 60 personnel) and multiple subcontractors.
-Understanding of Project Management Institute (PMI) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts and best practices.
- 15 years of relevant experience
- Minimum education of a Bachelors degree required
Additional Requirements:
-Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Desired Skills:
-Experience delivering services and solutions to the Federal Aviation Administration
-Experience transitioning solutions to a cloud infrastructure environment
-Understanding of cloud computing concepts, specifically as defined by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
