Description:

Leidos has a career opening for a Liaison Officer (LNO) and GIS Developer to support multiple deployed aerial surveillance platforms located in Bridgewater/OCONUS.

The job of the Liaison Officer (LNO) and GIS Developer is to interact with platform PED and operational support personnel on a daily basis to ensure continued successful operations. The Liaison Officer (LNO) will leverage knowledge on the GIS systems and performance of the deployed geospatial reference data library to make sure it is accessible and current.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

-Support the IT team as the GIS expert to accomplish necessary tasks, resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, facilitate new processes, revise existing and develop new SOPs, and provide solutions to maintain and enhance the program mission.

-Conduct periodic software, configuration, and licensing audits, and forwarding the results of these audits to the Software Manager.

-Provide baseline technical support for software used in workflows, including the entire image processing chain and GEOINT production (e.g. ArcGIS, GeoRover, RemoteView, ENVI/IDL, FSTK, MySQL, GeoReplay, and CLAW).

-Works within the Systems Engineering & Integration Configuration Management framework to submit Problem Reports and Enterprise Change Requests to resolve problems and drive new technology solutions for the project. Propose, create, and test operational software configurations and improved workflows for GIS systems, workstations, and back-end

servers.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related experience (or equivalent amount of total experience) in GEOINT.

-Experience in GEOINT to include: creating and managing geospatial data, conducting analysis, producing products, interfacing with different technical and non-technical constituents, providing general IT and specialized GEOINT technical support (including installing, configuring, and trouble-shooting software), producing documentation, and project management.

-Must have basic computer skills to assist in basic helpdesk assistance to customer base.

-Must be able to successfully accomplish the CONUS Replacement Center course which requires a successful

deployment physical, immunizations and training

-Be able to obtain a passport or visa to travel internationally.

-Be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

-Be willing to work in Hardship and Hazardous locations.

-Be willing to work long hours and / or non-regular hours with minimal notice.

-Have a minimum active Secret clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-Active Tops Secret clearance preferred.

-Experience with software suites referenced above is desired.
