          Virginia Tech Plumber - Night Shift in Blacksburg Virginia United States

          Performs repairs to equipment, and facilities in the residence halls in accordance with established procedures in order to maintain a safe and clean facility that is in good repair. Serves as departmental maintenance staff in area of plumbing. Assist supervisor with planning/implementing preventive maintenance program for buildings, equipment, including pumps. Performs work of moderate difficulty with responsibility for independently installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems, and heating systems including hot water and steam heating systems. General electrical and carpentry skills needed. Responds to after hours service calls when scheduled. Some overtime may be required.
