          Virginia Tech Assessment Coordinator in Blacksburg Virginia United States

          The Office of Assessment and Evaluation at Virginia Tech invites applications for the position of Assessment Coordinator for the 4-VA Consortium (www.4-va.org). The successful candidate will work cooperatively with faculty and administrators across four universities—George Mason, James Madison, University of Virginia, and Virginia Tech—to advance assessment and evaluation efforts. As a member of the professional staff, this individual will assist in the implementation of assessment activities in institutional-level projects. The successful candidate will coordinate and further develop plans, strategies, and methods for the assessment of student learning outcomes and research collaborations, and project evaluation. These activities include developing assessment workshops and other meaningful experiences that support to the project’s goals, analyzing assessment data, and reporting assessment and evaluation results to internal and external stakeholders. Other related assessment and evaluation activities will be assigned based on candidate skills and interests. The position reports to the director in the Office of Assessment and Evaluation and provides support to the 4-VA project team.
