Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

The A-Team, is a highly technical team comprised of Enterprise Architects, Solution Specialists and Software Engineers within the Oracle Product Development Organization. The Infrastructure Cloud Solution Architect is a hands-on role focused on building best practices and implementation programs that maximize the customer adoption of Oracle Public Cloud service.
This individual has to serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor who facilitates the migration and deployment of workloads from on-premise environments to the Oracle Compute Cloud. They will closely work with key customers and provide technical know-how and architectural guidance with sole objective assisting them go-live. They will have a dedicated focus on on-premise to Oracle Cloud integration from the networking perspective(VPN, IPSec, MPLS) and also covering all the networking related aspects of Oracle Public Cloud, different integrations within the Oracle Public Cloud between different services and between different datacenters.
The Cloud Solution Architect will manage creation and delivery of technical content,with a dedicated focus on cloud networking topologies, cloud on-premise network integration, cloud VPN configurations, cloud fast connect(Equinix Cloud Exchange), MPLS, cloud VPC, DNS and Load Balancing configurations for cloud. Ideally, but/*not*/mandatory, the person will have cloud relate skills like virtualization(XEN, OVM, VMware, AWS, HyperV, Azure, etc), operating system related skills(Linux, Solaris, Windows Server) or storage related skills(NFS, ZFS, etc).
In this role one will engage with a wide cross section of internal and external stakeholders development, support, Oracle consulting services, and third party partners to drive cloud adoption efforts. Preferred Skills and Experience
8 years of work experience in any combination of engineering, and consulting in the area of cloud computing with increasing responsibilities and with a special focus on networking.
Strong knowledge of computer networks in the context of cloud environments. Cisco Certifications are a must. Other networking related certifications are nice to have. Hands-on experience with VPN solutions, IPSec, MPLS, Software Defined Networks, enterprise network equipment like routers, firewalls, switches (Cisco, Juniper and others) are a must.
Medium Linux and Virtualization (XEN, OVM, VMWare, HyperV, KVM,) expertise, and some scripting experience (bash, Python, etc).
Nice to have, but*not*mandatory:
o One or more of the following Cloud Computing related technologies:Openstack, Chef / Puppet / Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Mezos
o Any exposure to Oracle related on-premise products(Oracle DB or Oracle Middleware)
o Exposure to Public Clouds: AWS, AZURE, Google, Oracle Public Cloud, etc
Proven ability in performing rapid assessments of clients internal technology landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Public Cloud technology.
Ability to on-board seed systems onto Public Cloud and provide guidance in the platform evaluation.
B.Tech /M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent work experience
