CSC is seeking a Microsoft Windows and SQL Infrastructure Engineer with experience in developing technical solutions for the remediation of security vulnerability findings related to Microsoft Windows system workstations, servers, and SQL databases created as a result of Information Assurance (IA) security scans or audits. This position will support the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Information Technology Infrastructure Program in Arlington, VA.

The Microsoft Windows Engineer will be responsible for:
* Review of the technical finding raw data
* Technical analysis of vulnerability findings; developing and producing written analysis of the security vulnerability findings when required;
* Solutions development for remediation of the identified vulnerability;
* Documentation development and maintenance – implementation procedures; change control documentation, design documents; Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), etc.
* Solution testing and validation
* Solution Implementation
* Evidence collection
* Communications/Coordination with system Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and other officials as required

Additional requirements:
* Candidate must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance and an Entry on Duty suitability clearance
* Experience in installing, upgrading and supporting Windows Server environment administration and engineering to include Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows 2008;
* Experience with Active Directory GPO Management and Administration
* Experience installing and upgrading Microsoft SQL Server environment administration and engineering to include Microsoft SQL 2000 and Microsoft SQL 2005;
* Experience with reviewing, creating and updating technical documentation
* Experience with hardening Microsoft Windows Workstation/Server platforms and Microsoft SQL Databases (Desired);
* Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
* Team player with the capability of working independently
* MCSE or MCSA w/SQL Certifications (Desired)

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred

* Six or more years of applications engineering, field support or technical sales experience

* Experience working with overall business/account objectives and goals

* Experience working with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, etc

* Experience working with software tools including compilers, assemblers, debuggers and simulators

* Experience working with assembly languages such as HTML programming, MySQL, C, C , etc

* Experience working with business areas such as Sales/Marketing, Business/Financial Analysis, Project Management
